Work in analytical laboratories often requires sample preparation using chemical, physical and thermal methods. Employees use hot plates, heated shakers, freeze dryers, ovens and many other devices with a limited set of distinct applications. Particularly for niche applications, specialized devices have to be procured. Their low sales volume and high development cost lead to high prices. After all, the appliances often share similar features and functions.
Why do we change an entire device design instead of just adapting the function to our demand?
We have set ourselves the goal of providing a single device that serves current and future niches. Thereby we reduce the financial burden and increase overall efficiency.
Electronics and software development have been my creative tools since my youth. Living technology suits me, which is why I decided to study Biology (BSc) and Applied Life Sciences - Sustainable Process Engineering and Biotechnology (MEng). I then started my professional life as a certified software tester in medical imaging and subsequently worked as a research assistant in the field of chemical analysis.
This is where I developed the idea on which this company is based.
