Work in analytical laboratories often requires sample preparation with various chemicals and methods. For a variety of niche applications, there has been a demonstration of a way it can be done, yet this way stopped before optimization. This also applies to MALDI-MSI sample preparation. MALDI-MSI is a valuable technology and in our opinion, established devices or home-built setups are demanding on several ressources, which limits this technologys potential.
We aim to make research more affordable in terms of investment, training and workforce.
Electronics and software development have been my creative tools since youth. Living technology suits me, which is why I decided to study Biology (BSc) and Sustainable Process Engineering and Biotechnology (MEng). I then started my professional life as a certified software tester in medical imaging and subsequently worked as a research assistant in the field of chemical analysis. I applied my motivation for solution development to custom challenges in a laboratory environment.
This is where I got the idea for this company.
